Aim:

To help students comprehend the theme, philosophy and essence of the essay, structure and organize their information, process and present it as per expectation of the UPSC as that it reveals the candidates’ attitude and administrative acumen. This course aims to improve the attitude behind the comprehension of the topic of the essay, and help the candidates to understand themselves and their flaws in expression, language, presentation and then to transform them to develop writing smoothly as per UPSC requirements.
Essay hasn’t got any syllabus and a meticulous preparation requires knowing a lot of things unknown as well as understand oneself. The aim of Essay programme is to help candidates --

  1. Develop comprehension over the topic of the essay or developing a proper understanding of the topic.
  2. Writing and expression improvement and identification of glitches in that.
  3. How to follow Intra and Interdisciplinary approach and make it perspective based rather than problem solution based.
  4. Mastery over handling various types of essays like abstract, philosophy based, knowledge based and Contemporary issue based.
  5. A team of most Experienced faculty under the mentorship of K. Siddhartha (ksiddhartha.com), an Earth Scientist, educationist, Strategic thinker and author of over 42 books, to offer you an opportunity to have a complete command of the aforesaid topics

MODUS OPERANDI

  1. Student can attempt the Test anytime after they go live. That means, even if you join in late - you can attempt the previous tests and send them for review.
  2. All test papers would be available on the ensemble.net.in website’s main forum.
  3. You are requested to write your answers starting with the question numbers in A4 sheet paper or UPSC standard answer sheets.
  4. Scan your answer sheets using the Cam Scanner App and make a PDF file.
  5. Send the PDF file to info.innovation.education@gmail.com with a subject header - [Mention your Number & Name]
  6. You will get a personal feedback within 7 days of your submission.
  7. The model answer structure will be made available on the Ensemble’s website after a few days of the test commencement. The video discussion will be also loaded as per schedule.

REGULAR ASSIGNMENTS

The students will be given an option of three topics for essay. The students will have a time limit within which to submit their essays. Once they have submitted their essays, a date will be given to them on which they can get their checked copies as well as a date when they will see their essays on You tube.

By doing this course you will be able to handle various types of essays and have lot of writing practice. There will be 12 essay tests that will be conducted.
